Timeless and elegant, Janese and Michael’s wedding was truly one of the most beautiful weddings!
In the early morning of the 19th, I scooted over to Janese’s room to see how she was doing. You could tell when you walked in, everyone was beaming in excitement because it was Janese and Michael’s big day! Sitting in the chair, Janese was getting her hair done sipping a mimosa from a pink bride straw.
It’s hard to believe that 4 short years ago, I was edging Janese on to ask Michael out after graduation. So fast forward 4 years, it was crazy to think that she was officially going to become Mrs. Stamp!
One floor down, Michael was getting ready with his groomsmen. When I stopped by during their getting ready photos, you could not wipe the smile off of his face. A wee bit nervous, but he was ready to finally marry the love of his life.
Friends and family gathered, and sat in the pews until the ceremony started! Once the ceremony began, you could feel the excitement and love in the air. As the wedding music started to play, 2 by 2, the bridesmaids walked down the aisle. As Janese rounded the corner to walk down the aisle, Michael smiled from ear to ear! Janese and Michael locked eyes and had THEE biggest smiles on their faces! Literally the sweetest thing EVER!
The ceremony itself was beautiful. The pastor’s sermon talked about Janese and Michael being two souls coming together as one. After the vows were repeated to one another, it was OFFICIAL! Mr. and Mrs. Stamp kissed for the first time as a married couple, held hands tight, and walked on their merry way down the aisle as husband and wife!
Can you say picture perfect?! The ballroom at the reception was breathtaking. The linens were white as the centerpieces were decorated in flowers and candles. The sweetheart table for Mr. and Mrs. were beautiful just lit up with flowers and candles.
Once everyone was seated at their tables, the DJ got everyone pumped as he introduced the bride’s parents, groom’s parents, bridesmaids, groomsmen, and finally Mr. and Mrs. Stamp! Their first dance was the song “Then” by Brad Paisley, and soon after, they cut their cake!
The party itself was WILD and so much FUN!!! There was not one song where there were at least 20 people dancing on the dance floor! It stayed that way the rest of the night, even all the way to the last song played! It was truly one of the best weddings ever!
Janese and Mike, thank you so much for letting me photograph your wedding! Watching your love story unfold the last 5 years has been one of the most beautiful love stories to witness. I said it in college, and I’ll say it to the day I die, you two are so freaking perfect together. And just like the other thing I said in college, one of these days we are totally going to throw a Kelchner wedding and scale from the top of the rock climb and I will unofficially officiate that “wedding” and photograph it. (Amy, if you are reading this, we are going to make this happen!!!) I love you both to the moon and back and cannot wait to see what life has in store for you both!!❤️
